Well, we ended up going to a diner (Route 52 or 53 diner - I don't remember the #) that my mother heard about. My wife's grandmother also went with us. She loves spending time with our children, especially our newest member. There was also a local group of OLDER bluegrass/country singers performing tonight. It wasn't my first pick of music or entertainment but it was fun. We all had a great time. Once again my ever persistent optimistic personality prevailed (as you can see by my earlier expectations). The only downfall was that it seemed to be "locals/regulars night" and we felt out of place. It's odd having a bunch of elderly folks with wheelchair's, walkers, and canes giving you the hairy eyeball. It felt like we ended up in the wrong section of town and would have to rumble (with the oldest gang I have ever seen) to make it safely out.
To end: a good time was had by all...
Till next we meet...
